You can become involved with our group easily! Feel free to bring your own projects or help with existing ones - we're a grassroots organization: you can get involved however you see fit, even without coming to every event or meeting. We want every member to feel a sense of ownership with their involvement in the group, something that they are personally connected to.

-Consider what you can to to advocate for a sustainable rebuilding in light of the devastating fire

-Consider joining one of our bulk purchasing collectives

-Be sure to check out our ideas page to see a running list of tentative thoughts and visions that our group and other town citizens have conceived of and suggested for a greener Mount Airy. If you like an idea that you see and would like to make it a reality, consider taking it as your project - you can organize and plan whatever you think is necessary to accomplish the goal. Or, if you like an idea but don't have time to organize and make it happen, feel free to offer us suggestions or helpful information so that we can carry it out more easily. Of course, you can also suggest ideas of your own and have them published to the site for adoption.
